Catherine de Buck van Overstraeten has 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C in very small and medium sized enterprises as well as multinationals, including 5 years of experience as operational manager of a very small company with a turnover of 1.2 million euros.

Her primary goal has always been to learn and to understand the interactivity between different departments of a company. So, she has had many different responsibilities, such as marketing, logistics, consulting, project management, operational management of SMEs, facility management, contract management, event organization, …

Rich of all those experiences and realizing that self-employed and managers of VSEs and SMEs often have not enough time to step back to take the right decisions, have a delay in the invoicing, have unpaid customer invoices for months or have other management concerns, she created the startup 5 o’clock to help them. They can delegate their administrative tasks and focus on what is essential to them (look for leads, increase the sales, spend more time with their family, find a better work/life balance …)

She is fluent in French, Dutch and English. Her mother tongue is French. She studied in Bruges (city in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium) and in Greeley, Colorado (USA). She uses these 3 languages daily.
